History of Firesafe

Mark Ross formed the company in 2003 after gaining 30 years of experience as a fire officer with Tayside Fire and Rescue Service.

My career gave me valuable operational experience based at all the whole-time fire stations throughout Tayside including becoming a Fire Service instructor.

The last thirteen years with Tayside Fire and Rescue Service I was generally based at Perth specialising in Fire Risk, Fire Safety and Fire Investigation.

I am a Graduate of The Institute of Fire Engineering and have all the relevant fire safety and building standards courses and qualifications.

Firesafe Consultancy Ltd

The company was established on 5th of May 2003 specialising in ‘Fire Risk Assessments' and ‘Fire Safety Training' to meet the needs of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (England), the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 as amended and the Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006.

Firesafe Consultancy has completed fire risk assessments throughout Scotland , England and Wales .

Firesafe has Indemnity and Liability Insurance.

Firesafe has carried out fire risk assessments and training at: offices, factories, shops, guest houses, hotels, residential care homes, nursing homes, houses of multiple occupation, hostels, night clubs, country clubs, licensed premises as well as many more.
